Meet the woman behind Pretty Little Liars, one of TV’s most talked-about television series! Marlene also penned the screenplay for the beloved coming-of-age film Now and Then, which has become a cult classic among women of multiple generations since its debut 25 years ago.
Her other prolific credits include Just My Luck, If These Walls Could Talk, Freeform’s Famous in Love, Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. Currently, King is adapting “Finlay Dovovan is Killing It”, the latest novel by best-selling author, Elle Cosimano. The fast-paced comedic mystery is the first in a series and is currently set up with 20th Television.

Bryan M. Holdman holds a BS in Radio/TV/Film, and a certificate from the Creative Writing for the Media Program, at Northwestern University. After moving to Los Angeles, California Bryan earned his MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. Ultimately, the Disney|ABC Writing Program launched his career as a television writer on the sci-fi teen drama, Kyle KY. Bryan’s produced television credits also include Everwood, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Step Up: High Water, and Famous in Love.
